Day at the Zoo

We pretty much just go the zoo once a year on Teddy Bear day when the kids get in free with their teddy bears.  Makes it easy!  And it was a nice day except for being a little windy.  The girls had had a sleepover with friends so we just met them there.
Ashlyn had fun being pulled in the wagon!
Her friend, Sophie, is younger than her, but she wanted to be the one pulling.
So Ashlyn got to enjoy the ride!

 Kaylie LOVED it!!!

 Ashlyn and Sophie

All of the kids except Kaylie
Rylee, Gabby, Olivia, Savannah, Ashlyn, and Sophie

Rylee and Savannah brushing a goat.

Ashlyn brushing one too.

I even went into the petting zoo part,
which I am not sure I have ever done before-
animals aren't my thing unless they are in cages!

 The lion is my favorite!

 What a cutie!

This was Kaylie's favorite part- she didn't want to leave the "drink in the lion."

And proof that I was there too!

After this we went home to eat lunch and then everybody but me took a nap for over an hour!
I actually got a few things done!

Ashlyn Lost Her First Tooth!

Ashlyn has had a loose tooth for a couple of months and we kind of forgot about it.  Then Tuesday when I picked them up from the daycare, she said she wanted Daddy to pull her tooth when we got home.  It was pretty loose and it was hurting whenever she ate.  So we went home and she let Matt pull it- she didn't scream or cry- all she said was ow when he was done!  Such a brave girl!

Dance Recital

Rylee loved the dragons on the walls,
so I took her picture with a lot of them!

 Birkli and Rylee

After the recital, we went on Ashlyn's first bike ride with her new bike!

Grandma and Cory came to the recital and gave the girls
these sunglasses with a case and some treats!

Kaylie wanted some too- so she borrowed Rylee's!

This girl didn't want to go inside- I said 1,2,3, let's go and she said 1,2, jump!

They think they always have to get flowers at their recitals,
so I let them pick their own since they were with me!

They did a great job- I'm so proud of them!
