Christmas at the Museum

We went to the museum yesterday and took our cousin, Jerika, with us.  They have Christmas trees, Santa stuff, nativities, and gingerbread houses.  It's something Christmasy that I like to do and I think the kids like it too.  They also like to see the old museum stuff like the discovery room and old Eagle Rock downstairs.

Kaylie really seemed to enjoy herself.  She didn't cry once- or sleep- she just seemed to be taking it all in.  She even seemed to dance a little with the music.  They had people playing the piano or singing the whole time we were there.

Jerika was a little shy and didn't want her picture taken, but I tried to get a few anyway.

The elevator ride is also a big hit!

Ashlyn loves crawling through the tunnels.

Rylee loves dressing up as a mountain woman.

And Ashlyn also likes the puzzles!

Rylee wrote a letter to Santa all by herself so she was excited to drop it in the mailbox.

After the museum Jerika came over to our house to play for a little while, which was so fun for the girls.

Kaylie in her gingerbread headband- Ashlyn wanted her to wear it.

My dad has Christmas nicknames for all of the girls.
Rylee is Christmas Elf (because of an outfit she wore when she was a baby with a hat that made her look like an elf.)
Ashlyn is Snowflake because it snowed on the day she was born (two days after Christmas.)
Kaylie is Gingerbread because of her hair I think.
