Temple Square

We decided to drive down to Salt Lake Wednesday morning and stayed the night for a little getaway before Christmas.  Matt found some stuff on KSL for a good deal to finish our bathroom downstairs.  And I had also wanted to see the lights on Temple Square.  The picture of the girls sleeping is just after we got to Salt Lake and Matt was picking up one of his things.

We bundled up- it was pretty cold!  I was pushing Ashlyn and Matt was pushing Rylee, and we got separated for a little while.  So Ashlyn and I watched a little of the nativity.  We didn't know that Matt and Rylee were just inside the building behind us where it was warm!   Oh well, Ashlyn liked the nativity.  She was sad that the people didn't move though- she kept asking when the shepherds were going to walk to Baby Jesus.

Then we went up to the Christus statue.

It even snowed beautiful, big snowflakes while we were there-
not for too long though.
It was so pretty!

I was glad we went- the girls loved the lights.  And we haven't been since Rylee was one year old, so it was time to go again!  After the lights we went back to the hotel and swam- that's all the girls wanted to do all day.  They were good sports about waiting as long as they did!  And after my camera was outside in the cold and then going into the swimming pool, it was foggy and I couldn't take pictures swimming!  But that was ok- then we could just enjoy it!  The girls had so much fun- they love being in the water.  Rylee also made a friend, of course!  We had a good time!
