4th of July

 The day started bright and early at the parade.  

We sat by Stephan and his family.  

It was a little cool at the beginning, but it warmed up.

 Matt's sisters, Katisia, Katria, and Hailey were in the parade for the store where Katisia works.  Katisia was on the float and Katria handed out coupons.

 My sister, Lindsay, and her family came from California.  They were going to go to the parade, but didn't quite make it.  But we got to play with them later.  We went to lunch with them and Cory- the birthday boy.  Then we played at Grandma's.  All of the kids get along so well and play great together.  They act like the best of friends- even though we don't get to see them nearly enough!

 Grandpa set up a place for them to play in the backyard.

 Happy Birthday, Cory!

 Rylee sewed Cory a book with pictures that she drew in it.  She made it a long time ago and has been asking when Cory's birthday is so she could give it to him.  So she was so excited to finally give it to him.  She also made him a card and picked out a musical card that she loved dancing to too.

 We went to Myrt's for our annual 4th of July BBQ.  The kids had so much fun playing in the backyard.  Cory had some of his friends there and they were so nice to play with the kids.  Matt and Adam also did a good job of entertaining the kids.

 Matt loves babies, so it was no surprise that he fell in love with Avila.  She's such a cutie!  We hadn't seen her since she was a month old, so she's changed quite a bit!
