Disneyland Day 1

This was our first day at Disneyland with almost the whole family. Matt flew down later that night because he had to take a test for a class he's been taking. And Lindsay's husband, Adam, was at work. The kids had so much fun with each other. And they got along the whole day too! We rode a lot of rides and saw a lot of characters and had a great time!

(The pictures are out of order and some are big and some are small. Oh well!)

Ashlyn loves Noah and loved getting to go on rides with him-
they were best buds!

Nap time

Rylee and Lindsay on the new Little Mermaid Ride.

In line for our first ride of the day- Dumbo.
Everybody's favorite!

Rylee got pretty soaked on Splash Mountain.
She's smiling, but she wasn't very happy about getting so wet!

Ashlyn's first time on the Matterhorn,
the only roller coaster she was tall enough to ride.
It was also Jacob's first time.

Splash Mountain- Noah and Rylee look scared to death.
What kind of parents would force their child to ride that?!?

Jungle Cruise

Ashlyn on the Carousel- another favorite!

California Vacation

We just got back yesterday from a 10-day vacation to California. We went with my parents and brother. So about 4 days were spent traveling (all of us in our van), 3 days were at Disneyland, and 3 days were at Lindsay's house visiting her, her family, and Erin and playing at many beaches. We had a great time and I took LOTS of pictures, so get ready! It may take me a while- I have 10 days to blog about, so it will probably be that many blogs. We left Sunday after my dad got off work and my mom and Cory got out of church. But these pictures were taken on Monday. I won't get into all the details of our Sunday- that's a whole different story, so I will just start with Monday!

This was the first of many stops at In-n-Out.
This was in Las Vegas.

We swam at our hotel in Anaheim Monday night. Lindsay, Erin, Noah, Macie, and Jacob came to stay one night and go to Disneyland with us on Tuesday. It wasn't very warm, but the kids insisted on swimming and Cory and I were the lucky ones to get to swim with them. We didn't swim very long- the kids could have swam all night, but I couldn't!

The non-swimmers (the smart ones!)

The crazy swimmers!

Grandma Blatter's 80th Birthday Party

We celebrated Grandma Blatter's 80th birthday yesterday at her house.
We had a great dinner and got to see lots of relatives.
Her actual birthday is today,
so happy birthday, Grandma!
We are so blessed to live so close
and see you at church every week!
We love you!

Ashlyn loved holding Cosette-
she was looking forward to it all day!

Jerika and Ashlyn played together almost the whole time- so cute!

Ring around the rosies!

The little girls love Lucy- they all wanted on her lap!

Ashlyn had to hold Cosette one last time.
She was so happy!
Cosette doesn't look as happy!

Playing with Jerika

Heidi and her family came for Grandma Blatter's birthday party, so Jerika came to our house for a little while earlier in the day. The girls had so much fun playing with Jerika and playing outside- the weather was great (finally)!

Lost Tooth

So I dropped the girls off at my mom and dad's this morning while I went to school. And when I went to pick them up, I found out that Rylee lost her first tooth! I didn't even know she had a loose tooth and now it's gone! I'm a terrible mother- how could I not know?!? She hasn't said anything. I thought I had a while before this started happening! So my dad pulled it. I'm actually glad it wasn't me because I see enough loose teeth at school and I don't really like it. I didn't like it when my teeth were loose either. Myrt pulled most of my teeth. But I wish I could have been there, but what could they do? When a tooth is coming out, there's no stopping it! So I guess the fun with the tooth fairy begins!
