Pet Steven

 Matt found this lovely creature while mowing the lawn. 

The girls weren't home at the time, so he saved it for them.  

Rylee was so excited!

 They put it in a jar and kept it as a pet for a day.
Rylee named it Steven.
(I think after a friend from her class that moved away!)

Matt and Rylee even got some ants for it to eat.

 But then Rylee began to worry that it might die so she decided to let it go.

 This is Rylee petting it- she had more fun with it chasing it around the yard!

 Kaylie touched it too!

 Kaylie had the most fun playing with it in the pool!

You were a great pet and we miss you, Steven!
