Bear World

We took the girls and a couple of their friends to Bear World yesterday.  I had been there on field trips with my class before, but it was the first time with my family.  And it was actually a nice day.  It was a little windy, but that's to be expected.
 A rare white elk.

A few of them were having a party together.
(Maybe they were planning their after hours circus act, right, Dad?!?!)

Poor Kaylie was pretty miserable most of the time from being sick,
but she did like watching them for a few minutes.

Ashlyn was happy to sit in the front seat while we went through the park.

 Olivia, Rylee, and Savannah
(Olivia and Savannah are sisters that go to the daycare too-
Savannah is Rylee's "BFF" and in her class at school.
Olivia was in my class last year.)

Kaylie seemed to perk up when we went to the petting zoo- she loves animals!

Ashlyn, however, is more like me in the animal department.
She didn't even want to walk around-
I either had to hold her or she sat in the stroller with Kaylie.
And Kaylie only wishes she could have walked around!

They also have a few rides.
Ashlyn had to go the bathroom right before the big girls got on,
so she missed this one.
But she got to ride later.

Rylee looked like she was hanging on for dear life!

They both said the "roller coaster" was their favorite.

Ashlyn and Olivia are on the left side- can't really see them in this ride.

Rylee and Savannah are on this one.

Maybe next time Kaylie will get to ride.
We might have tried if she wasn't feeling so icky.

 Ashlyn finally got a turn.

And the last ride- the train.

Rylee and Savannah were in the front and got to ring the bells.

There were only a couple of baby cubs and we couldn't see them very well.

White wolf- I think Rylee liked this animal the most.
Probably because of her obsession with dogs.

We let the kids pick out a souvenir from the shop, where they had a million bears.  But leave it up to Rylee to want the wolf stuffed animal which made the others want it as well.  So we went to Bear World and left with four wolf souvenirs- go figure!  I even tried to talk them into bears- no such luck!
