Angie, Graham, Stephan, Ashlyn, Rylee, Bradley, Mercedes, and Lucy
Rylee, Ashlyn, and I went to the parade with some of Matt's family. We got there pretty early with Angie and Graham and it was pretty cold. We were in jackets and blankets. It was overcast and windy. We weren't sure if we would last. But when the sun finally came out it was pretty nice. Usually we're pretty hot, so it was kind of a nice change this year.
Stephan and his family and Oma, Opa, Hailey, and Jerika joined us before the parade began. Angie and I were there by 8:30 and it didn't start where we were until 9:30 at least. They did have some pre-parade stuff like cars and bikes, but then there was a long break.
Once it got started though it was lots of fun. The girls loved it! We had a good spot and got lots of treats. Rylee, Ashlyn, and I had a really good time with everybody. Thanks, Oma, for saving us a great spot. Thanks, Angie, for going with us early!
Remember when you were Little Caesar in the parade? Ha. It was pretty hot that day...
ReplyDeleteI think it's funny that your title says, "4th of July Parade" but the date is still July 3, 2010. It made me laugh!
{I guess it wouldn't be as funny if you lived in Idaho or Utah, though!}
