October Fun

 Kaylie is obsessed with seatbelts.
She loves the ones in carts- but of course, she doesn't like to sit in them and always gets out of them.
But she loves to hook them- so I let her sit in the big part of the cart and hook the belt.

Kaylie is so good at giving hugs and kisses- I know I've probably said it a million times!
She gives them when someone is sad or hurt.
My favorite is when she wakes up before her sisters and she goes and wakes them up by sitting on them and giving them hugs.  And she will just sit there for a minute- it's so sweet!  And the big girls love it too!  They don't mind getting woken up by this little love monster!

October is a busy birthday month for our family!
My dad's birthday was last Sunday.  I thought I forgot my camera and had my mom take a picture of him with the girls, but then I found it.  So I only took this picture.  I'm still waiting for them to send me the other!

These girls love to cuddle up together in a warm blanket- I love it!
And I can't help taking a picture too!

Kaylie played with this castle for about five minutes-
which is sadly as much as the other girls have played with it in almost two years!
I think I've played with it the most!
(If you call neatly arranging the furniture and cleaning it up playing- which Matt does!)

Our school had a Family Fun Night last week.
Dinner, face painting, bouncy houses, cotton candy, games and prizes-
what's more fun than that?!?

Kaylie had the most fun just running around by herself!

Rylee liked the games the best because she got candy and prizes!
She was mad at this game- people popped up and you tried to hit them on the head.
Well, Rylee wanted to be the one people hit!

Ashlyn just went on the bouncy things over and over again!

Once we put Kaylie on, she didn't want to get off!

So fun!

Aloha!

Rylee's friend party was last Saturday- again, the Hawaiian theme!
Cory made this awesome palm tree!
(It took him two minutes and so much better than I would have done!)

I am terrible at parties, so we played the usual noncreative games!
This was freeze hula dance.

They seemed to have fun though!

Then they did a Hawaiian clothes relay.

 Kaylie wanted to play too!

Then it was pin the coconut on the tree- thanks to my dad for the idea!
And to Cory for making the tree!

One girl came later, so they played the same games again!

Then it was Hawaiian pizza and lemonade!

Oh, and I can't forget Rylee's favorite balloon game!

What a fun bunch of girls!

Rylee's 7th Birthday

 Rylee is 7!

She was so excited about her Monster High Doll.
She actually got three of them- from us, Grandma, and her friend!

She got to celebrate with her friends, Savannah, Olivia, and Sophie (all sisters) after school at dance and at our house for cupcakes on her actual birthday.  This is the best group of girls- they play so well together and are just good girls!  So having these three extra girls with us for a couple of hours is actually fun for me too!

 She requested chocolate cake.
So Matt made Myrt's chocolate cake and I made the frosting.

I also made cherry chip cupcakes- just because!

She wanted a "7" for the door like I made a "1" for Kaylie's birthday.  The seven turned out to be easier than the one- at least the outline- I wasn't quite sure how to decorate it!  The black dots on the red was easy for the ladybug party!  So I guess these colors are Hawaiian to me!

She gave everyone a lei when they came.

 She wanted a Hawaiian party.
She's even really been to Hawaii!

We borrowed the leis and some decorations from Oma.

 Grandma

 Uncle Cory

 Playing her ukulele.

 Grandpa

Kaylie was giving Cosette hugs- so sweet!

Hailey's boyfriend, Jeff, played "Happy Birthday" on her ukulele for us as we sang.
Rylee thought that was the greatest thing ever!
We may have to recreate it so I can get a video!
At least I got a picture, I guess!

Make a wish, Rylee!
You deserve it- I couldn't ask for a better oldest daughter!
Happy Birthday!
