Happy Birthday, Mom!

 My mom's birthday was yesterday.

Kaylie looks crazy in this one,
but she was super happy and it shows all four of her teeth!

Kaylie was trying to sneak Grandpa's dark chocolate
while Grandma was opening presents!

 She got two chocolate cakes!
I made one and so did Myrt.
Myrt's cake is always best though!!!

I hope you had a great day, Mom!!!
(And I hope you got enough chocolate cake!)

Scooters and Bikes

 Finally, their own scooters!

Kaylie gets on and off of her "bike" by herself too!

The girls have to watch out- Kaylie likes to run under the tramp!

Rylee is a unicorn- crazy imagination!

Rylee can ride a bike without training wheels!
She was riding a little bike at the daycare last week.
I had practiced with her once on her big bike, so I was surprised she could do it!
But she has to have the little bike for now.
This was Ashlyn's bike with training wheels, but we took off the training wheels so Rylee can get more confident in her bike riding before she attempts her big bike.
I was getting worried that she would never learn because I haven't had much of a chance to help her,
but she pretty much did it on her own!

Jensen Family Reunion- Hotel and Erin's Apartment

Scary picture of me- but I had to show I was there too!

 Kaylie loves Peanut!

Rylee played the Wii with Derek.
(We don't have video games, so she tried anyway!)

After seeing us push the elevator button a bunch of times,
Kaylie wanted to do it too!
She would put her finger out everytime we got close!

And she thought she needed to sit on the elevator!

Of course the kids loved playing on the luggage cart.
We used this quite a bit since I was packing tons of stuff by myself!
I am not a light packer- maybe someday I'll learn.
I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Kaylie had a purse, my keys, and she was all ready to get out of there and go home!
We had a great time, but it's always nice to go home!

Jensen Family Reunion- Day 3

The girls and I swam and relaxed at the hotel and
Kaylie caught up on some sleep Saturday morning.
(Erin also worked.)
So we didn't do much until dinner at my cousin April's house.
Rylee said to me, "They are having a talent show.  Can I enter?"
So how could I not let her-
we didn't have anything planned, so we decided she could do cartwheels.
Then Jill invited Ashlyn to dance with Molly, so Ashlyn was excited too!

The first picture is of Rylee volunteering to go first!
Who are these kids of mine?!?
I do like that they are not shy like me though!

Rylee was even more excited when they said they get a prize for doing it!!!

 Rylee's cartwheels.

Picking her prize- which I think sadly got left there- I can't find it!

Molly and Ashlyn showing off their moves!
They were so good that they had to do an encore!

 Picking prizes.

Enjoying the rest of the show.

 Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Gaylon.

 Cheryl and Gina singing.

Aunt Elaine and her daughters singing.

These are out of order- I was using two cameras!
This is at April's house- she has chickens and cows, which the girls thought was pretty cool!

I thought this bench was so cute!

Rylee, Derek, Erin, and Ashlyn

We had such a good time!
It was so fun to see everybody and meet new people too!
Thanks, Ladles and Gneitings!
