Playing Around

Rylee giving Ashlyn a ride-
it doesn't look like it, but Rylee loved this the most.
She was so proud of being able to give Ashlyn a ride!

Such a strong girl!

Draw and Color

It seems like that's all these girls want to do lately is draw and color- mostly Rylee, but Ashlyn is getting in on it too. Ashlyn is also obsessed with watching Annie, so we're usually drawing and coloring while watching and singing along to Annie.

Ashlyn will ask to watch Annie the second she wakes up and she'll cry if we are watching anything else. She loves Miss Hannigan- she thinks she's pretty funny! I didn't think Ashlyn's first movie obsession would be Annie! I loved that as a kid myself- and still do!

Rylee got a few stuffed animals at Grandma's church last week. They were having a swap meet or something and Rylee picked out a few things. She wanted me to take our picture with all of them. She likes to set up her toys and have me take her picture with them. So funny!

Jackson Hole

Ashlyn was scared of the elk and thought it was going to get her-
understandable!

Matt has been wanting to drive to Jackson to see the trees changing colors, so we were finally able to go today. We didn't see many colors until the way home, but it was fun. Rylee especially loved Jackson. She wanted to go in all the stores. As we were leaving one, she would say let's go to another one! She's not usually like that when we go shopping! They had some pretty cool stores though.

Jessie, the Yodeling Cowgirl

Rylee drew this picture of Jessie today. She laid her Jessie doll on the paper and started to trace around her body, but she decided that was too hard and just looked at the doll to draw it. I thought it was pretty good and very detailed. As she was drawing it she started to draw her belt right under her head, but then she laughed and said it goes lower. So she just erased it and drew her shirt there instead. I especially love the braid!

We'll Miss you, Erin!

It was fun to have Erin here visiting for a few days. We wish she could stay longer! The girls love her so much! We hope to see her again soon!

Late Birthday Party

We celebrated my dad's birthday today- a little late, but my dad and I were both off so it worked. It was also the last day Erin was here- she is flying back soon. So we had birthday pie that Myrt made from my dad's apples first and then went to Arctic Circle before going to the airport.
