November So Far

Ashlyn thought it would be a good idea to cut her hair.
So now she has a few side bangs I guess.

The girls had their primary program last Sunday and they did a great job!
They each had two parts because our primary isn't very big.
And Rylee's class sang the 4th verse of I Am a Child of God.
It was also nice to have Grandma & Grandpa Jensen, Oma & Opa, and Hailey & Jeff come to see them.

Trying to get them all together is not easy!

We woke up today to a winter wonderland!
This was Kaylie's first time playing in the snow!
And she absolutely LOVED it!

She didn't even mind when she fell down!

Rylee starting to build a snowman, which the snow was perfect for!

This shows how much snow we got- I know she's not very tall, but it went up to her knees!

Snow angel

Ashlyn wasn't happy with her snowpants, so she stayed in most of the time we were outside.

Matt helped Rylee finish off the snowman.

The finished product!

Halloween

All of my kids have had their turn in this costume!

Cheetah and cat gymnast (don't ask!)
This was after the Trick or Treat Street at Snake River Landing.

 Yes, I even dressed up.
One of my duties as a teacher.

 Super hero girls!
It wasn't easy to get them all in these costumes.
I won't mention any names,
but one of my kids is very stubborn when it comes to what she wears.
(The others are stubborn in different ways!)

They were all smiling, but unfortunately they were looking at Grandma!
Good enough!

We went trick or treating on Grandma's street.
It was such yucky weather and the girls got pretty tired from the ten or so houses we went to!
After trunk or treats, the old fashioned way just seems so silly!

We went to Oma's ward's trunk or treat on Wednesday.
So we went over to her house a little early for the kids to play with their cousins before.
This is Kaylie and Gerardo.

Ashlyn (who is now just a cat), Gabe, Isaiah, Kaylie, and Rylee

Kaylie wanted to stop after each person gave her candy and eat it.
She didn't quite get the concept!

After the trunk or treat outside, there were food and games inside.

Kaylie wanted to go back outside.

After trick or treating at Grandma's we went to the mall just to show Grandpa our costumes, but some of the stores (not very many) were handing out candy, so we walked around there too.  (Notice that Ashlyn is no longer in a costume- and in the stroller- this girl is crazy!!!)

We had to hurry and get a picture with Grandpa, so this is what we got!
It's nearly impossible to get a good shot of Kaylie anymore, but I still try!

Trying to get into the dentist's office- just hanging there!

Of course, they want candy from the candy machines even thought we just got a whole bunch for free!

We did get a pretzel though- it was a long walk!

After the mall, we went to Oma's.
Jeff took these guys trick or treating for a little while.

We had a lot of fun, but I am sure glad the madness is over!
I guess that's what Halloween is all about!
