Toys, a Band, and Rolling Over

Kaylie loves her entertainer- she especially loves the cake!

The girls put a band together.  Rylee played the instruments- the harmonica, guitar and piano (the yellow thing with the balls has a little piano on it too).  Ashlyn sang.

Ashlyn wanted Kaylie to sing too.

Rylee was playing with Kaylie a couple of weeks ago and was so excited because Kaylie rolled over.  It wasn't official though since I didn't actually see it.  And then we never really set her on the floor so she could roll since then.  But on Tuesday I thought we should see if she would do it again. Sure enough, she did.  I actually missed her rolling from her back to her belly again- just Matt and the girls saw it.  But then she also rolled from her belly to her back and I saw that.  We were so proud of our little Kaylie!

November

I can't believe November is half over and I just have a few pictures from the whole month!  We haven't been doing much.  It seems like we've been busy though.  So here's just a few pictures from November so far.
The girls went to the dentist last Thursday.  Rylee was so excited to go since she hasn't been for a while.  But she was not very excited once they started trying to do x-rays or clean her teeth!  Poor girl- I can't blame her.  I HATE the dentist!  But she has no cavities- well as far as the dentist could see since she wouldn't let them do the x-rays!  So when we got home she was pretty tired!

Ashlyn was a very good girl at the dentist- it was her first time.  She was too young for them to even try the x-rays, but she loved when she got her teeth cleaned.  She was distracted by the cartoons on the ceiling!  She didn't have cavities either.  But the dentist did say she has a cross over bite which means her bottom teeth are in front of her top teeth on one side.  That's why she has the crooked smile.  He said we'll see what happens when her permanent teeth come in.

And Kaylie was very good at the dentist as well!  Lucky for her she doesn't have any teeth yet!  But everybody loved her red hair!

Smiling at Rylee- her sisters always make her smile!

Halloween

 My little princesses

Tuesday night Matt took the girls to Oma's ward's trunk-or-treat.  I was sick and stayed home that day so I didn't go.  They had dance before that so they missed out on most of the candy, but they still had fun and got to dress up.

 Minnie Mouse!

Rylee and Ashlyn have enough Halloween clothes to wear almost the whole month of October!  They pretty much did wear a Halloween shirt all month- they really do have a lot!

Rylee with some of her class in the parade at school.

Her best friend, Savannah, in front of her looks thrilled!

I sneaked away from my class party for a minute to take some pictures.

Minnie and mini-Minnie

Yes, I was Minnie last year too!
My kids at school from last year made sure to point that out!
Next year I'll have to be a witch again.
I need a costume with comfortable shoes though!

Matt was so excited to actually get a smile!

 Ready to go trick-or-treating.
I didn't actually stay in costume- I had been in mine long enough!

 Resting before the big night.

First we went to our ward's trunk-or-treat.

It was actually warm!  We didn't need to bundle up this year!  Kaylie had a good time at ours in the stroller- I didn't catch it, but she was smiling.

After our trunk-or-treat, we went to my mom's.  Theirs is pretty big, so we got tons of candy there.  And then we went to Oma's house and Matt took the big girls real trick-or-treating and they got tons more.  We were home before 8:30 and we got a lot of candy so it was a big success!  I'm glad it's over!

Salt Lake Again

(This isn't in Salt Lake, but I didn't want to do a bunch of little posts.)

This was Ashlyn's first big puzzle all by herself.
She had just done one with Grandpa
so I guess she was inspired when we got home!
She was so proud!

This is at In-n-Out on the way to Salt Lake.
Kaylie was so happy to be there!
Unfortunately though, I was sick,
so I didn't get to enjoy a yummy burger this time.
I guess we shouldn't have gone to my appointment because I was sick.
But I was anxious to know what my eye was doing-
and it made for some memorable moments.
Sorry, Mom and Dad!
My eye is doing well- even improved a bit from last time!!!

I had to make a stop right before the doctor
and it turned out to be a good spot for a picture!
