A few weeks ago I was going through my old maternity clothes. The girls thought it was so fun to try them on. Especially Ashlyn- she changes her clothes a million times a day. Too bad the clothes look so much better on them!

Braid Girls
I decided that it's just easier to braid the girls' hair instead of putting in curlers. So I braided it last night before they went to bed. Ashlyn liked that much better! And they thought having lots of braids was pretty fun!
Another Dance Performance
Rylee's class had another dance performance last Friday. This time it was at Bonneville High School- I don't think I've been there since Cory graduated almost 4 years ago- when I was pregnant with Ashlyn.
This is Rylee's new costume- her hip hop costume. I forgot to have her put on her leg warmers for the picture. She did a great job as usual!
And if you can believe it- I didn't get any pictures of her dancing because the batteries in my camera died and for I think the first time in over 5 years I didn't have extra batteries! So this is the only picture I have! Matt did take a video though. But I will take lots more pictures at her recital in May!
Ashlyn can't wait until she gets to take dance. The thing Friday night was a solo competition and Rylee's class performed during a break for the judges. So we got to see some dancers and Ashlyn loved watching. She didn't take her eyes off of them when they danced and clapped at the end. So who knows- maybe she'll be competing in a few years! She loves to get Rylee's dance clothes on and dance. Rylee's dance teacher even lets Ashlyn do gymnastics with the class after dance. And Ashlyn things that is the greatest thing- she thinks it's her class now too. She will be so ready when she gets to take dance next year.

Bear Cubs
The girls and I went to Blast Off last Wednesday for their cousin, Isaiah's, birthday party. They had some bear cubs from Bear World there. They didn't let you get too close if you didn't pay for a picture, of course. So I called Matt to see if it was ok if Rylee got her picture taken, but Matt wanted to come see them too! So we waited for him and then got our picture taken. It doesn't look like it, but both girls were excited. Rylee loves animals. Ashlyn was a little afraid at first, but even she petted them. And I did too! (In fact, a few years ago we had some cubs come to our school and I even held one of them.) Then the cousins came and they got to play at Blast Off, so it was a fun night!
Matt and Rylee got their picture taken with a baby lion in Las Vegas, so now they just have to get a picture with a baby tiger- oh my! Haha!

Rylee's First Horse Ride
The girls have loved watching the horses behind our house their whole lives. One of Rylee's first words was even horse. They would stand by the back door and stare at them when they were really little. Then Matt would sometimes take them out to feed them and pet them. But today Matt saw that Brother Kopp (the real owners of the horses, even though we call them ours!!) was giving his granddaughters a ride. So we went out and asked if Rylee could ride. She was so excited. But when he actually put her up there she got a little scared. She rode with Hailey and she was holding onto her pretty tight. She said she wanted down before she even rode anywhere, but she was brave and stuck it out. By the end she was loving it and didn't want to get off! He said she could ride anytime they were riding (which isn't really that often), but she can't wait for the next time!
She started to loosen up her grip on Hailey as they went-
even not holding on towards the end!
She was such a happy girl!
Feels Like Spring!
Yesterday we had our first real taste of spring. It was a beautiful day! The girls jumped on the tramp, ate popsicles, rode bikes, and played baseball. We live in Idaho and it will probably snow soon, so we have to take advantage! We wish spring would come to stay though!

We were kind of thinking this one would be a boy,
so we were a little surprised to hear girl.
But we are very excited and ready for another girl!
