We drove down to Bear Lake on Tuesday for the Blatter family reunion and just got back this afternoon. It was a lot of fun. These are pictures from Tuesday. We didn't get there until around 5:00 so we just hung out at the condo and then went down to a little beach in the evening for a while.
This picture with the bear was Rylee's request .
The view from the condo. It was right across from the marina.
We stayed in the room in the basement that had two sets of queen size bunk beds. Rylee had just been talking about wanting a bunk bed, so she and Ashlyn absolutely loved the bunk beds- and being able to touch the ceiling!
Hanging upside down.
Rylee loved throwing these big rocks into the lake.
Cosette and Matt.
Rylee, Jerika, and Ashlyn had fun playing in the water.
Rylee liked watching the fishermen the most- she wanted to catch some fish too!
Heidi saw a deer run across the grass just outside the condo, so everybody had to go out and see it.
Just about as soon as she lost her first tooth, we noticed that the one next to it was loose too. Matt's really been trying to pull it for a couple of weeks. We've been bribing her with everything we could think of, but she didn't want Matt to pull it. She didn't want it to hurt and bleed- which is understandable! Then today I was on the computer and she came down and told me she had a surprise for me- and she showed me her tooth! She is super excited- more excited than last time I think because she knows what the tooth fairy will bring her!
So Oma was the only one who smiled for this one, but that was our parade group!
Go Bees!
This is some of the stuff we got at the parade- we ate a lot of the candy while we were there and the popsicles are in the freezer. I even got a tie for Matt from the Missionary Store float. I didn't know what they were handing out, but I just made a little noise and got it!! It's not a bad tie either! A tie from the parade- who would have thought!
Happy Birthday, Cory!
We went to the parade with some of Matt's family in the morning. Then we had a barbeque at my Grandma Myrt's for Cory's birthday. My Aunt Laura and Uncle Larry came from Montana. My dad took the traditional timer picture of the whole group- which is the smallest it's been for a while! But it's on my mom's camera, so I'll have to post it later. We are just waiting for the fireworks- the kids have been asking all day if we can go to the fireworks, so we will all be happy when it finally gets dark!!!
