Sister Time

My sisters came to visit last weekend!
Erin came from Boise and Lindsay came with her four kids 7 months pregnant from California!
It was so good to see everybody and spend some time with them.
We hadn't seen Lindsay since before Kaylie was born!
Erin stayed with us the whole time and just Macie spent the night with us the first night.
Then they all stayed last night.
It's so fun that all of the kids act like best friends from the second they see each other!

 Erin, Rylee, Macie, and Ashlyn

Today was their last day here and we decided to throw a little birthday party for the
November and December birthday kids, Jacob, Noah, and Ashlyn.

The almost five-year-olds, Ashlyn and Jacob.  Their birthdays are 8 days apart!

The kids had so much fun!

Kaylie is checking out Jacob's present!

Even the unbirthday kids got gifts too!

The baby girls- Avila and Kaylie.
Avila is two and Kaylie is one, but they are still the babies!

We had some fun outside enjoying the sunshine.
It didn't feel too cold for a November day!
Even the Californians didn't mind playing outside!

 Avila and Jacob

 Jacob loved the horses.

They even got to feed them carrots!

They left this afternoon, and I already miss them!
We had a great time- I just wish they could have stayed longer!
Maybe next time we can go to California and we won't wait a year and a half to get together!
I wish they lived closer.

Ashlyn put Kaylie's hair in a ponytail.
How she held still enough I will never know!

When I asked the big girls if they wanted any leftover rolls from Texas Roadhouse,
they raised their hands.
Then Kaylie did too!
It was so cute, we had to try it a few more times so I could get a picture!
Monkey see, monkey do!

 Enjoying the leftovers!

 Daddy's shoes.

Kaylie loves shoes- she loves to walk around in whatever shoes she can find!

November So Far

Ashlyn thought it would be a good idea to cut her hair.
So now she has a few side bangs I guess.

The girls had their primary program last Sunday and they did a great job!
They each had two parts because our primary isn't very big.
And Rylee's class sang the 4th verse of I Am a Child of God.
It was also nice to have Grandma & Grandpa Jensen, Oma & Opa, and Hailey & Jeff come to see them.

Trying to get them all together is not easy!

We woke up today to a winter wonderland!
This was Kaylie's first time playing in the snow!
And she absolutely LOVED it!

She didn't even mind when she fell down!

Rylee starting to build a snowman, which the snow was perfect for!

This shows how much snow we got- I know she's not very tall, but it went up to her knees!

Ashlyn wasn't happy with her snowpants, so she stayed in most of the time we were outside.

Matt helped Rylee finish off the snowman.

The finished product!
