Summer Fun

I am so sad that I go back to school next week.
But I've tried to enjoy my last week of summer playing with the girls.

Kaylie is such a big girl feeding herself!

We invited some of our cousins over for a water party.
Bradley and Mercedes came over first.
Kaylie loved being in control of the hose!

She splashed herself in the face a few times,
but didn't seem to mind too much!

The girls threw water balloons at Bradley.

Kaylie wanted to join in the fun.
In this picture she is jumping and laughing and having a great time!

Then Jerika and Cosette joined us!
Our little pool got pretty dirty so we don't have one anymore.
But Matt made one from the car topper thing!

Again, Kaylie was in charge of the hose as everyone went down.
Sometimes she got them wet, sometimes she didn't!

She went down a few times too,
but she didn't like that as much as holding the hose!

We finally got our patio poured yesterday.
Opa and Matt's friend, Doug, came and helped.
So Lucas came to play too.
They had fun just watching the big boys work!
And they did such a good job- it looks great!

This seems a little backwards- Kaylie pushing Ashlyn.
But Kaylie enjoyed it just as much as Ashlyn did!

Storytime before bed.
Kaylie was smiling because she ran away from me as I was trying to get her pjs on!

Neighborhood Picnic

Our ward had a picnic in the park yesterday.
The girls invited their friends, Savannah and Sophie.
It was tons of fun- dinner, bouncy house, "train," races, cotton candy, and popcorn.
The girls also brought their bikes and scooters to ride around the park.
They even gave the new people to the ward and neighborhood gift bags filled with homemade goodies.
And since our ward boundaries changed in December, we are considered new so we got one!
We love our ward!

Kaylie and her friend, Haven, from church.
She's a little older, but they are already friends.
They spot each other in church and want to play!
Kaylie was trying to attack her with open-mouth kisses!

The girls waiting for a ride in the train.

Kaylie went for a ride too!

Then I guess Matt volunteered to drive, so he and Kaylie went on lots of rides and she loved it!

Rylee rode her bike and tried to keep up with the train, but it went too fast for her little bike!
But she did ride the whole way around the park- which is pretty big!

Rylee was excited for the races, but was really upset when she didn't win.
We will have to practice our three-legged and wheelbarrow racing before next year!
She is very competitive!
