Snowman

We had our first snow Wednesday night.  We woke up to tons of snow on Thursday.  And then it has snowed off and on since.  This morning there wasn't much snow left, but enough that the girls wanted to go make a snowman.  I wasn't sure if they would be able to, but they did!  Rylee did most of the work- she knew just what to do.  Ashlyn walked next to her as she rolled the ball.  Rylee rolled that ball clear across the yard!  She did a great job.

 Holding hands- so cute!
These girls can be the sweetest sisters,
but they also fight like sisters as Matt always says!
I'm just glad they have their good moments too!

 Rylee made a long trail!

They were trying to find things to put on it when I remembered a few years ago I had gotten a snowman kit free from Roberts.  So I went down and looked through all the Christmas stuff to find it.  The girls had fun decorating the snowman.  The scarf even came with the kit.

 Their first snowman by themselves!
They were so proud- and so was I!

The cutest snowman I've ever seen!
After they had been back inside for a while, Rylee realized we forgot arms!
I guess we'll get those on our next one!

It was a good thing they went out when they did in the morning because the rest of the snow melted during the day.  We'll see how long it lasts!

Carving a Pumpkin

The girls each got a pumpkin from Oma's Daycare
(even Kaylie got a cute little) so we decided to carve one.
Well, Rylee somehow talked Matt into it!

They weren't very happy about cleaning it out.
Ashlyn said several times, "Do we really have to do this?!"
I'm with her on that- that's why I just took pictures!

It's supposed to be a cat.
I thought I took a close-up, but I guess not.

Spidergirl and Cheetah Girl-they wore these for Ashlyn's preschool party.
They have different costumes for Halloween.

 Piggy-back ride.
This is Rylee's actual costume.

Little pumpkins they decorated at preschool.
Rylee is there when they do preschool so I guess she gets to participate/help too.

Ashlyn's School Picture

Ashlyn
Preschool

I finally got Ashlyn's CD so here is her picture.
This isn't her usual smile, but it's all we could get that day.
She does smile like this sometimes.

Primary Program

 Ashlyn's first program
She remembered her part and didn't need any help:
"I want to follow Jesus."

 Rylee's part:
"When I fast and pray my testimony grows stronger."

Sunday nap that lasted five minutes.
Just enough time for me to actually get comfortable.
Matt taking a picture must have woken her up- dangit.

Kaylie's First Swim

On the way to Green Canyon

Matt got some passes to Green Canyon from someone at school.  So we went there on Saturday.  Rylee and Ashlyn were so excited, of course.  They LOVE to swim!  And Kaylie also went in the warm pool.  She was pretty good unless she got her head wet- face or hair!  She stayed in for quite a while.  I was surprised at how many babies there were- some even younger than Kaylie!  It was my first time there.  Ashlyn pretty much just floated in her life jacket.  Rylee threw the locker key in the water and dived for it most of the time.  It was fun!

Matt and the big girls were so excited to swim with Kaylie!

And I had Matt take my picture to show that I was there and swam too!
Most of the pictures I took didn't turn out.  But at least I got a few!

School Picture

Rylee
Kindergarten

Ashlyn was supposed to get a CD of her picture too, but I didn't get it.
I emailed them about it, so hopefully I get it.
I will put hers on if I get it.
They both turned out pretty good.
Rylee looks so old though!

3 Months

Kaylie is 3 months old today!

Ashlyn (and Rylee too) can always make her smile!

Kaylie is a very good baby.

She used to cry ALL the time she was in her carseat.  She still doesn't like it too much, but she won't cry the whole time anymore.  And she will actually finally sleep in the carseat!  Both Rylee and Ashlyn were the same way.  The car never put them to sleep either.  Crazy kids!

She is starting to grab toys and anything else she can get in her mouth- usually her fists.

She drools like crazy!

She still wakes up 2-3 times a night.  But last night she slept a whole five hours in a row!  It was nice.  But then it was two hours after that!  She doesn't want me to get used to sleep, I guess!  But she is actually my best sleeper.  Well, Rylee was pretty good after a while.  Ashlyn was the worst- and still will fight sleep until the bitter end.  She's a night owl like her daddy.  Kaylie will go to bed between 8:30-9:30 so I can't complain about that!  I remember being up until 11 or 12 with the others.

She's such a morning person- she is so happy in the morning (which is more like me).

We all love her like crazy!

The Past Couple of Weeks

Kaylie has started to grab things!
I noticed it for the first time when we were in line at the pharmacy at Albertsons two Mondays ago.  She had grabbed the toy hanging from her carseat and was sucking on it.  All three girls had just gone to the doctor.  Rylee and Ashlyn had strep and he thought Kaylie might get it, so he put them all on antibiotics.  Three sick girls is not very fun!  But I guess it's better to get it all over with at once.

 All ready for Halloween!

I just had to get a picture of Kaylie in her cute shoes from Aunt Lindsay.
They looked cute and they even stayed on the whole time at church!

I caught Ashlyn in her room playing the piano and singing songs.
Of course she stopped when she saw me though!

And more pictures of Kaylie- I tried to get some smiles!

Kaylie has some long hairs at the top of her head
and then a bunch of fuzz growing by it.  I don't know if you can see it, but I love it!

Even though she was sick, she was still smiling!
She is such a good baby!
