Babies!

Both of the girls are in heaven with these new babies-
Cosette and the puppies!!!

This was just after swimming.
It was so nice of Heidi to let these
crazy, wet girls hold this cute little baby.

They're naturals with babies.

Oma took these last week.
Rylee saw Matt put the puppies in his shirt to keep them warm,
so she had to do the same.
She thought it was so funny that it crawled out her sleeve!
So cute- she loves those puppies!

Easter Egg Hunt

This is the only picture I was able to get of the girls in their dresses from Oma.
Ashlyn was not very cooperative!

After the baby blessing and lunch at Heidi's church, the kids got to go on an Easter egg hunt. Rylee was pretty excited, but Ashlyn was pretty tired from the whole weekend. She didn't get a nap Saturday and fell asleep in the car just before lunch Sunday for a little while, but that was not enough. She kept saying she wanted to go home. But when she was looking for the eggs, she was a little happier. And the candy helped too, of course! Thanks, Heidi and Vance, for inviting us and for lunch. And thanks, Oma, for the Easter egg hunt. I only wish I had more pictures of Cosette! Hopefully I can get some from Oma. (Rylee and Ashlyn both took pretty good naps on the way home!)
I tried to get a picture of the "Y" behind us,
but you can't really see it!

They were both pretty exhausted by the end.

On Saturday we ate at In-n-out in Centerville and the girls got hats and stickers. (Rylee made the Easter bunny ears after we got home.) For dinner Saturday we ate at the Pizza Factory right by our hotel. I had forgotten how good that place is- I hadn't been there since I graduated from BYU ten years ago- yes, I am SOOOO old!! But it was so yummy!

Swimming at the Hotel

All ready to swim!

Matt had to hold them down for a picture-
they were trying to swim by themselves!

Ashlyn going under the water- her favorite!

I was in the water too-
trying to hang on to this little water monster!

Rylee, Hailey, Jerika, and Ashlyn (in the float)

Of course we had to go swimming at the hotel. They were looking forward to it for days. They even had to have goggles and new floats. The girls are fearless in the water- they both wanted to go in the water without floats. And Ashlyn kept saying, "I want to do it by myself." And she tried a few times. So I didn't take many pictures swimming because I was keeping a very close eye or hand on them at all times. We swam for a while by ourselves and then Oma, Opa, Hailey, Heidi, Vance, Jerika, and Cosette came a little later. Our family swam for over 2 hours total! And the girls probably could have swam more. They swam longer than Matt and I- we left them with Oma while we got dressed. That's when the girls held Cosette which I missed, so I'll have to get those pictures from Oma. Ashlyn love, love, loves babies. So she was very excited to get to hold her.

Easter

We went down to Provo yesterday for a baby blessing (Matt's sister, Heidi's, baby). So the Easter Bunny came a day early. The girls had fun finding all of the eggs (Ashlyn had more fun just eating the candy!). I took lots of pictures, but again, I am having problems uploading pictures. If anybody knows why I keep getting a "bad request" message, please let me know! So here are just a few. We celebrated Easter just before leaving for Provo.

They both got Barbie and Ken dolls and Rylee got Alvin the Squeakquel (which she has been dying to see because of the girl chipmunks- I haven't seen it yet, but she watched it on the way to Provo a few times so she must like it!) and Ashlyn got Shrek 4, which we have seen and is pretty good.

Easter Eggs

For the past couple of years, my mom, dad, and Cory have come to dye Easter eggs with the girls. Last year Ashlyn was sick and didn't know or care what was going on, but this year she's way excited. And Rylee too. She's been asking when Easter is coming for over a month. So we've been waiting a long time for this! I've been having problems with uploading pictures lately, so I just did them small and they uploaded so fast. I just hope you can see them! They are a little out of order too for some reason-and it's too much work to put them in order!

I had to throw this one in for Cory-
he was worried Rylee would break the egg!
So funny!
He actually makes this face a lot when the kids
are doing something that makes him nervous!

We got to the last egg before we remembered to draw on them first.
So Rylee is drawing on the last egg!

She said she drew a bunny, but you can't really tell in the picture!

Grandma gave them some Easter goodies
and play-doh was one of them,
so Rylee made a chick out of it.

Some of the eggs in their Toy Story or Hello Kitty holders.

Here's Ashlyn with her play-doh.
She made Hello Kitty with a mold thing.

New pj's and slippers from Grandma and Grandpa.

Now they have matching pj's!

Thanks, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Cory for coming over.
And thanks for the Easter presents! We had a great time!

More Pictures with Puppies

I don't know why I've been having such a hard time uploading pictures. So I was lucky to get these few pictures up finally. These are from Sunday. I don't think I've ever seen Rylee so happy! But no, we will not be getting one. I know, I'm a mean mom. But she's also a good kid because she hasn't even asked for one- yet!! Both Rylee and Ashlyn have asked to go over and see the puppies every day since Sunday. I have to admit they are very cute and I did hold one for a few seconds. They were so tiny that I thought I would break it or hurt it or something. So I was nervous and I'm nervous when the girls hold one too.

Here she is holding two puppies at once- she was in heaven!!
It was definitely love at first sight for her!
